BIOGRAPHY
Salò, Italy 1972
She took a graduation in painting at the Academy Fine arts in Bergamo, under the direction of the photographer Mario Cresci and in 1994 she received the “ Gianna Maffeis Milesi” scholarship for Engraving Techniques.
In the same year (1994) she received a special award for Engraving Techniques from the same Atheneum. In 1998 she attended the TAM course of Sculpture and Jewellery, directed by Eliseo Mattiacci and Arnaldo Pomodoro. With the latter she followed a stage of specialization in his studio.
In 2001 she joined a project called “ Art and Multiculturality” directed by Gennaro castellano, together with Stefano Arienti, Liliana Moro and Luca Vitone. It was proposed for the third Millenium in Zingonia and for a work shop called “Arte e Impresa 2000” (Art and Entreprise 2000) directed by Mario Cresci. In 2001 she took part to the edition of “ Lampi Grevi” ( Heavy Lightnings) directed by Francesco Tedeschi and Fabio Paris.
In 2006 she was selected by Angela Madesani and Andrea Dall’Asta for a visual art award called “ The Sense of the Journey” at the San fedele Gallery.
In 2008 she took part to the Arte Ingenua Award and was selected for a collective exhibition at the studio Lemmi in Milan.
In the same year she took part to the collective exhibition dedicated to Pippa Bacca called “ The Bride of Peace” at Upds in Istanbul. In 2010 she was a finalist at the International Laguna Award and she took part to the collective exhibition at the space of the Tese dell’ Arsenale in Venice, and she is a finalist at the Wannabee prize in Milan. In Milan 2011 She took part at the “arte accessibile prize in Sole 24 ore” and she participed at the exbhition in palace “Pirelli” for “labyrinths of fear” and in the same year, she is one the finalist at the prize art Mondadori.
